[solved]jaws database export (gadget Blog)

Postby johl » Mon Nov 22, 2010 8:03 am

Hi!

I found a file called "jaws" and it tells it's a sqlite database 2.1 file in the header. I use SQLitemanager with Jaws CSM. I would like to export the Blog data from the sqlite database, but i dont know how...

I've tried all possible db tools and they all tells "unable to open database" probably encrypted or it's not a database...
is Jaws encrypted or is just the sqlitemanger sh**?

Cheers Jonas

Are you sure that it is a SQLite Database.
What is the value of
Code: Select all
$db['driver']   =

in the file config/JawsConfig.php

OK. This is a very unspecific error message, but the message "unable to open database" refers to a permission error:

The database file and the web server needs write permission to the file and directory of the file. Set chmod 777and try it again. Should it not work, please send us more information about sqlite error logs so that we can find out the problem.

Sweet lord...is it possible that i missed that simple thing
I'll be back....

L8r that evening...
With that fancy move (chmod 777), it made it possible to read the file from command line sqlite. Then i did the dump of the database and tried to import it to sqlite3, but some error in sql statement (in the file) made it impossible. I edited to sql statement giving the error and could import the file :D
Now i also can open it in SQLite Manager (thru Firebird extension). Soon i can probably import this into my MySQL db.

Thanx for the points and help!

Cheers; J
