[solved] installation doesnt proceed after key.txt

Postby scott.emons » Thu Oct 09, 2008 6:12 pm

i am trying to install jaws on a linux machine with php 5.0.

i get to the second step where installation asks me to copy the given key to install/key.txt . i do as it asks, but when i press next, it takes me back to step one.

i cannot see any errors generated in the apache logs and data/logs/install.log only has the line "Generating Key .."

can anyone give me some ideas about what is wrong?

thanks.

Hi
I've just downloaded 0.8.6, tried to install it on the W2K3 server that I use for PhP and MYSQL but I'm getting the same problem as Scott. All the other PhP sites work fine so thought I'd pop along here and see if any others are getting this issue.

session.save_path="D:\Websites\sessions"

Cheers
