Multiple layouts, how to achieve

Postby bdgraphics » Tue Sep 08, 2009 1:16 pm

Hi guys,

I'm trying out the demo of Jaws and it's looking pretty good.

One thing I can't seem to do is create multiple layouts for the web site.

I'm not sure if this is going against the principle of the CMS but I do want a different layout between pages with different purposes, e.g. the home page, dedicated 'gadget' page or a blog listing page.

To make it clearer, I don't want a listing of the recent blogs on a static page such as 'contact details', however having the recent blog entries on the home page is ideal.

Might be missing something obvious so any help is appreciated.

In control panel, go to layout. for all the modules there, you can specify when they are showed. Put them on 'index' if you only want them to show on the index page.
